Support that fits around your life
Getting showered and dressed. Keeping on top of the housework. Getting to an appointment, or the shops, or your daughter's place. We're a registered NDIS provider and that's the sort of help our workers give, right across Australia.
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. It costs nothing to ask.
Where would you like to start?
Looking for support?
For yourself, or for someone in your family. You don't need to have it worked out before you ring. Tell us what's going on and we'll take it from there.
Talk to usAre you a support coordinator?
Send through a referral with the supports you're after and when they need to start. We'll come back to you.
Make a referralWhat we can help with
Pick one to read what it involves. If what you need isn't on the list, ring us anyway. We'll tell you straight if it's not something we can do.
Where we work
We're registered to provide support anywhere in Australia. Capital city, regional town, somewhere in between.
Tell us your suburb when you ring and we'll let you know what we can do there. If we can't reach you, we'll say so, and help you think about who else might.
What happens when you get in touch
Four steps, and nothing is locked in until you say so.
-
You ring, or send a message
You don't need anything prepared. Just tell us what's happening.
-
We have a chat
We'll ask about the situation and what sort of help would actually make a difference.
-
We talk through the options
What we can do, what we can't, and what a week would look like.
-
You decide
If it feels right, we'll get it set up. If it doesn't, no hard feelings.
How we work
We'll ask about your situation before we start talking about services. If there's a word or a form that doesn't make sense, we'll explain it, however many times it takes.
If we're not the right people for what you need, we'll say so rather than take the work. That happens sometimes and it's better said early.
You choose who supports you, when, and how, and you can change your mind. If you don't get on with your worker, tell us and we'll find someone else. You don't have to give a reason.
We aim to get back to you within 24 hours.
Who we are
Care2You was started by people who'd been through it themselves, with family members living with disability. We know what it's like to go looking for support and not know where to start.
Common questions
If yours isn't here, ring us on 0419 109 900 and we'll answer it.
What is the NDIS?
It stands for the National Disability Insurance Scheme. It's the Australian Government scheme that gives funding to people with a permanent and significant disability, so they can pay for the support they need.
If you have an NDIS plan, that plan sets out how much funding you have and what it can be spent on.
Do I need an NDIS plan before I contact you?
No. Get in touch either way.
If you already have a plan, tell us roughly what's in it and we can talk about what we could provide. If you haven't got one, we can still have a conversation and point you towards where to start.
Where do you provide support?
Across Australia. Our office is in Auburn, in Sydney's west, and we support people in cities, regional towns and everywhere in between.
Tell us your suburb or town when you get in touch and we'll let you know straight away what we can do in your area.
Can someone contact you on my behalf?
Yes. A family member, carer, guardian, friend, support coordinator or health professional is welcome to ring us for you. Just let us know who you are and how you're connected to the person who needs support.
Do you support self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed participants?
Yes, all three.
If you're not sure which one applies to you, that's completely normal. Tell us what you know and we'll work it out.
What if I don't get on with my support worker?
Tell us and we'll find you someone else. You don't have to explain why. Getting the right match matters, and sometimes it takes a try or two.
What does it cost?
Everything is charged according to the current NDIS pricing schedule, which is the price list the NDIS publishes each year setting out what providers can charge for each type of support.
Most supports are paid for out of your NDIS plan rather than your own pocket. We'll go through it with you before anything starts.
Not sure where to start?
That's how most people arrive. You don't need the right words or anything prepared. Tell us what's going on and we'll help you work out what might help.
